Well, I’ve got to say – that was a fun gig! From what I understand, it’s hard to draw a crowd the Friday before Halloween, but you guys came out and we appreciate it! Look for our new shows coming up in December and February back at the Eau. Thanks to Casey and Guido for their help with equipment and attempting to run a broken light show!
Furious George at Cafe Eau, The Chase, Oct. 30
November 17th, 2009New Shows Added!!
July 7th, 2009Details to come, but the band has 2 new shows, booked by our agent at large, Tommy. Tommy got us hired at the Chase for 2 shows: one in October and one in December. We’re pretty sure it’s at Cafe Eau, which is one of the swankier places in St. Louis from when I’ve peaked in there. Anyone who knows anything about this place please let us know. Also, if you know of anyone wanting to hire a band in St. Louis or the surrounding areas, please contact Tommy. We’re getting a lot of interest off of our website, so help post on this blog or others if you would. Thanks!

This Saturday @ The Tin Can…
July 7th, 2009Hey all – the band is looking forward to this week’s gig. With all the stuff going on downtown St. Louis for the All Star game, we’re hoping that this one has a solid turnout. I can see several folks have already responded on the band’s Facebook page, so let’s hope all goes as well as we’re expecting. There’s also Sheryl Crow playing under the arch from 8 to ?, so maybe she’ll show up after she gets done and jam with us. Ok, so we don’t know any Sheryl Crow songs, but… maybe she’ll hire us as an opening act!

Last Saturday @ Fandango’s!!
June 18th, 2009Hey all – just wanted to that everyone for coming out to what proved to be (imho) our best gig to date! We’re building up to be one of the best bands for hire in St. Louis (hopefully) and we’re looking to new bars and private gigs to fill the schedule and hone our skills. Highlights of the evening have to be any time girls dance on tables (see pictures). That’s a first for the five of us! (Damn, we’re naive!) But we all had a good time.
In the next few weeks, we will reveal our new personas along with the TRUE story of Furious George and how we came into being. Should be an interesting read, but not long enough to take to the beach.
For all of our friends, thanks again for coming out! Please feel free to post here – - and - – if you know of anyone looking to hire a band (bar owner, frat house, etc.) please let us or Tommy know.
